On Saturday 15th September 2007 - our new lifeboat - The Oddfellow - an Atlantic 85 RIB was officially named by Alison Adamson and Keith Adamson (Grand Master of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows). Earlier in the day Keith also officially re-opened the Oddfellow's Hall in town and lead a march to the war memorial where wreaths were laid before proceeding to the lifeboat station.
